One of the downsides of doing what you love for a living is that, eventually, your creative outlet begins to feel less "fun" and more "gotta pay those bills."
Enter: 100 Days of Letters.
The idea is based *loosely* on the 100-Day Project - which founder Elle Luna of The Great Discontent calls, "a celebration of process that encourages everyone to participate in 100 days of making. The great surrender is the process; showing up day after day is the goal. For the 100-Day Project, it’s not about fetishizing finished products—it’s about the process."
I say "loosely," because I got so in the Zone that I ended up doing about 40 designs in a week. #sorrynotsorry
My goal is to both shift my focus back to lettering while exploring new tools, styles, and all things lettered.
In this 4-part series, #100daysofGAB, I'm going to show off some of my favorite works from the project, but you can find all 100 pieces on Instagram with hashtag #100daysofGAB (or at least whatever number I'm up to so far!).
Even better, you can grab a ton of these designs as downloadable desktop wallpapers FO FREE. Yup - free. Scroll on down to check it out!
